The Story
Athena Social was established after our founder Megan had spent years working in corporate roles across Social Media and SEO. She longed for the creativity of social, but loved the data and proof that SEO brought.
There was never a role in the corporate world that allowed her to combine the two. The two departments never worked reciprocally.
Her deep empathy and understanding of emotional connection to brand and product, meant there was no longer a space for her in traditional seo, and after being told she was 'too sensitive' to succeed in the industry, she quit and started her own business, fueled by need for a demand-based model.
